| The iris yard is located in the southwest side of the property. This is the main iris area and has approximately 500 iris in this one location. There are five types of iris (tall bearded, arilbred, median, louisiana and spuria) that share this space with two gazebos and several benches. One of the gazebos is a shaded potting area during the hot summer months and an outdoor dining area in cooler weather. The other is a year-round shady oasis with a relaxing pond and view of the yard. |
